Follow these steps to assemble and set up your DIY cold plunge tub:
Step 1: Prepare the Site
Choose the Right Location:
Place the insulated tank on a flat, stable surface that can support up to 1,200 lbs when filled with water.
Ensure the tub is within reach of your nearest outdoor GFCI outlet so the GFCI-protected outdoor-rated extension cord can easily reach without tension.
Use pavers to create a stable base:
Position pavers directly under the section of the tank that holds water to support its weight.
Place pavers on all four corners to ensure overall stability.
Leave a small gap between pavers to route the extension cord under the tank.
(Picture: Diagram showing paver placement under the tank and the gap for routing the extension cord.)
Step 2: Connect the Power Components
Set Up the GFCI-Protected Three-Headed Extension Cord:
Plug the Bluetooth remote into the first of the three outlets on the GFCI cord. The remote allows you to control two components remotely.
Connect to the Bluetooth remote:
Plug the chiller and pump into the two outlets on the Bluetooth remote.
This setup lets you turn the chiller and pump off or on from inside your house or from a distance.

Connect the Timer and Ozone Generator:
Use the second outlet on the GFCI cord for the 24-hour timer provided in your kit.
Plug the ozone generator into the timer. Set the timer to run the ozone generator for 2 hours a day (refer to the timer’s instructions to configure this).

Step 3: Fill the Tank
Use a Garden Hose to Fill:
Fill the tank with water up to the marked line (you’ll provide a picture for this). Avoid overfilling to allow space for displacement during use.

Connect the Extension Cord to the Wall Outlet:
Once the tank is filled to the proper level, plug the GFCI extension cord into your outdoor wall outlet.

Step 4: Test the System
Power On the Chiller:
Turn on the chiller using its power switch. Ensure the water begins circulating through the system.

Check Water Flow:
Confirm that water is flowing properly between the tank and the chiller. Inspect the plumbing to ensure there are no leaks or blockages.

Step 5: Final Setup Check
Ensure that the chiller, pump, and ozone generator are operating correctly.
Verify that the Bluetooth remote can turn the pump and chiller off and on as needed.
Double-check the timer is configured to run the ozone generator for 2 hours daily.
